From 26 to 30 January 2016 Uravu Eco Links welcomed students from the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore for a workshop on ‘Space and Place’. The workshop was part of a one-month project. During the workshop the students were exposed to presentations on the biodiversity, the history and the Adivasi communities of Wayanad. This was combined with various field visits and creative exercises to explore the space and place. Nadine Gracias, a 19 years old first year student, made this drawing of one of the Uravu Bamboo Grove cottages. She used the pen stippling technic with micro pen to realise this beautiful work.
