Professor A G Rao (IIT Bombay), Uravu, ARFC India and the Children’s Club of Thrikkaipetta conducted the second workshop on craft, science and language. Over three days the children discovered different methods to approach maths and geometrical shapes at Kuttamangalam School. Their involvement in the workshop and the active participation of all the facilitators made it a real success! The children unleashed their imagination and enthusiasm to create beautiful leaf compositions and puppet shows. The students enjoyed the workshop, which was based on innovative and fun ways of learning and Professor Rao’s wide experience and methodologies.
Next year we hope to get teachers involved too. Professor Rao is keen to share his pedagogical skills and knowledge with them.
