Uravu Bamboo Grove had the privilege of hosting a group of over 40 undergraduate students from SIES College, Mumbai University, pursuing B Sc. in Environmental Science. The visit was designed to provide an in-depth understanding of bamboo as a sustainable resource and its applications in eco-friendly architecture, tourism, and conservation.
During the session, students engaged in interactive discussions and hands-on experiences, gaining valuable insights into sustainable development practices. The exposure visit highlighted the ecological significance of bamboo, its role in climate resilience, and community-driven sustainability initiatives.
We appreciate the enthusiasm and keen interest demonstrated by the students and look forward to fostering more such academic collaborations to inspire future environmental leaders.
