Hameed is dedicated to bamboo design and construction. He has been working with Uravu Eco Links for four years as a master craftsman. Hameed is also a specialist in making bags using bamboo, jute and cloths. He has participated in many exhibitions organised by the Kerala State Bamboo Mission. He also provides training on bag making to interested groups. Uravu Eco Links has benefited from his craftmanship in bamboo through various workshops and in the construction of the Multi-Functional Restaurant in the Uravu Bamboo Grove Resort. Hameed is from Kuttamangalam, Wayanad.
